RE: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 57, Draft 3; An Ordinance Amending
Ordinance No. 13-98 Which Reclassified Lands From Agricultural–3 Acres
(A-3a)to Single Family Residential– 10,000 Square Feet (RS-10) at Waidkea,
South Hilo, Hawaii, Covered by Tax Map Key: 2-4-003:Por. 021.
Please see below a proposed amendment to Bill No. 57, Draft 3. The proposed amendment is
illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 57, Draft 3; material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken and new material is underscored.
SECTION 1 of Bill No. 57, Draft 3, Condition C, is amended as follows:
"C. Access to the proposed lots shall meet with the approval of the Department of
Public Works. [
Chapter a
County Streets, of the Hawai'i County .] Interior subdivision
roads shall be provided with curbs, gutters, and sidewalks meeting the approval of
the Department of Public Works[;]. Subdivision access and driveway connections
to and from Kawailani Street shall not be allowed;"
Due to the limited scope of the amendment, a draft copy of Bill No. 57, Draft 4, in its entirety,
that would result if this proposed amendment is adopted is not attached.
