ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 191-21: AUTHORIZES THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE Authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement for the Civil Defense Agency's use of two classrooms at Keaukaha Military Reserve to conduct daily operations during renovations to its permanent office. Reference: Comm. 368 Intr. by: Mr. Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder(B/R) BILLS FOR ORDINANCES Bill 62: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 21-38, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2022 Increases revenues in the Federal—Area Plan on Aging account($1,327,797); and appropriates the same to the Area Plan on Aging account. Funds would be used to provide services outlined in the Older Americans Act of 1965 with a focus on alleviating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on seniors. Reference: Comm. 367 Intr. by: Mr. Kaneali`i- Kleinfelder(B/R) Page 2 Hawaii County Council - 09/01/2021 08:10:25 AM FC-18 September 7,2021 Bill 63: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 21-38, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2022 Appropriates revenues in the Federal—Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Supplemental 2 account($23,720,000); and appropriates the same to the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Supplemental 2 account. Funds would be primarily used to support disaster relief and long-term recovery related to the 2018 Kilauea eruption. Submitting Video Testimony: Those submitting video testimony may email a complete web address (url)to videotestimony@hawaiicounty gov before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date, agenda item (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video submittal. Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item. Video submittals may contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the meeting.
