Dear council,
My name is Lydell Cardoza and i live in district 1. I support Councilwoman Villegas amendments to Bill 44. Specifically the additional
Onsite Inspection for Factory Built housing. As a builder i have done alot of projects...each project requires some sort of inspector to
come out and inspect installation of material ( hurricane hardware, plumbing, electrical, and structual means). The homeowner should
be comfortable and have an ease of mind that all components were installed to manufactures installation, this is where the inspector
comes in.
Another scenario is that during transportation damage within an enclosed wall can occur- if simpson brackets, Pluming pipes, Electric
wiring, improper installation, should malfunction, the homeowner will be stuck with unforseen cost please take this into
consideration.
