RE: Bill 44 on code adoption and latest housekeeping amendments in Communications 281.23
SUPPORT
Please incorporate the proposed housekeeping items in Communication 281.23 and advance Bill 44 on code adoption
as coordinated with DPW.
I am not in favor of the proposed amendment to omit structural review. We have safe buildings when design
professionals and building officials work together.
We want to avoid not passing any bill and defaulting to the state version which will not be
administratively coordinated with DPW and delay permitting further.
