Aloha all,
I would urge the Council to pass Bill 44 as it stands without further ammendents other than those noted in the August
2nd Memo from Susan LeLoy.
Consistency and Safety are important.
For the design and construction community as well as property owners wishing to build, we are already working on
projects that will be affected by delays in passing the new codes.
It is important to have a firm timeline for the new Code adoption. Not only the residential code in Bill 44, but the
updated IBC 2018 code as well.
