Subject: Support Resolution 161 Preservation of Kiolaka'a
Aloha,
I would like to submit my testimony in support of the preservation of Kiolaka'a. The natural and cultural resources in that area are in
need of protection and preservation to help prevent further loss and degradation. It would be yet another tragic loss to Hawaii
should Kiolaka'a and other wild and culturally valuable places continue to be taken by development/developers from Hawaii's
residents and native wildlife that depend on those natural resources. Purchasing valuable areas like Kiolaka'a,will preserve the past,
protect the present, and ensure the future of Hawaii.
