REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
Dear Chairwoman David and Hawai`i County Council Members:
Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4), we request attorney-client
confidential discussion, in executive session, to consult with the County Council on
questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and
liabilities regarding the above-referenced matter, including a discussion regarding a
litigation Scott Mattoch filed on behalf of his client, Alexandrea M. Newell.
We ask that this case be placed on the Council's September 22, 2021 agenda.
If granted, I will appear before the Council in person in Kona Council Chambers.
