SUBJECT: Update on Solid Waste Division Priorities & Challenges
By means of this communication, I am kindly requesting a 15 minute update followed by a 45 minute
discussion with the Department of Environmental Management to understand progress made on top
priorities,challenges encountered,and solutions implemented for the Solid Waste Division.
The department is also asked to provide a brief overview of its Continuity of Operations Plan
(COOP)under current circumstances pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please place this matter on the appropriate committee agenda for September 21.
