Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Kanoe Wilson of District 5 to the Puna Community Development
Plan Action Committee.
Kanoe is a lifelong resident of Hawaii, has a deep passion to serve her community, and is
committed to supporting efforts to ensure implementation of the Puna Community Development
Plan. She is a 1991 graduate of Kamehameha School and is currently a doctoral candidate at the
University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Kanoe is a published, award-winning, educator and is the Senior Project Manager for
Kamehameha Schools, utilizing complex project management strategies to plan and implement
projects. She sits on the Boards of numerous organizations, including Ka`ialuaopina, Ka
`Umeke Ka`eo PCS, Hawaii Environmental Alliance, and more. If confirmed, she will serve a
term to end December 31, 2024.
