She is the co-founder and CEO of <br /> Waiwai Collective, creatively growing community, culture and commerce, and Waiwai <br /> i <br /> Consulting, developing culturally and community responsive management plans for native <br /> ecosystems. <br /> 3 <br /> J <br /> i <br /> Mahina earned her bachelor's degree in Hawaiian Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, <br /> a graduate certificate in Kahuawaiola Indigenous Teacher Education from the University of <br /> Hawaii at Hilo, and her master's degree in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific <br /> University. She actively serves the community in numerous capacities, including as co-founder <br /> of`Aina Aloha Economic Futures, Vice Chair of Vibrant Hawaii, and a member of Hui <br /> `Oihana, Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, to name a few.
