Dear Council members, aloha.

Thank you for having a hearing on the public's concerns about COVID-19 and Hawai'i County's response to the
challenges. May greater health and happiness result from using fundamental, proven remedies going forward.
We're concerned that the Precautionary Principle, the Scientific Method and fully Informed Consent has been omitted
from official government discussions, debates and policies. We want you to include these basics in new discussions
and county policies immediately.

Our Grandparents stepped-up to the WW2 emergency of their time by creating and promoting the Hemp For Victory
program.
Surely in our time and facing our current emergency and its challenges we can do even better to support the well-
being of our people.

Every home can be upgraded to one degree or another into a pro-heath and hygiene center by including a Victory
Garden including Cannabis hemp, but only if we have the freedom to do so. We the people of Hawai'i County passed
the Peaceful Sky ballot initiative in 2008 (Ordinance 08-181)to allow for 24 Cannabis plants per property for adults
with no budget to investigate, arrest or prosecute the same. That safe and natural herbal nutrition and medicine is
more needed than ever. Please revive your understanding of and support for this strong, clear and constitutional voice
of the people.

We also take a spiritual route to remedy these life threatening challenges. It's our belief that "The yoke of our
bondage will be broken by the anointing." We interpret that to be literal anointing with the holy anointing oil of
Moses and the christening oil of Jesus that includes Cannabis as the 'fragrant cane'.
