RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST IV POSITION FOR THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Hawai‘i County Fire Department is in need of an Information Systems Analyst IV position to provide direct island wide technological support for the department; and
WHEREAS, the Hawai‘i County Fire Department has over 300 computers, a variety of programs and technical processes specific to the department; and
WHEREAS, with the creation of an Information Systems Analyst IV, SR-22, position, the department will be better equipped to provide enhanced services to the public and increase safety
within Hawai‘i County; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai‘i County Charter states that the Mayor has the power to “Create positions...for which appropriations have been made by the council...”;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that one (1) Information Systems Analyst IV, SR-22, position be created in the Hawai‘i County Fire Department.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of the Mayor, the Finance Department, the Department of Human Resources, and the Hawai‘i Fire Department.
