JNSYr®�H+dy <br /> COUNTY OF HA'WAI`I *_ _* STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ,TE <br /> 60F,MA.1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 205 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF SEVEN (7) BENCHES AND TWO (2) SEATS TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION. <br /> WHEREAS, an anonymous benefactor through the Friends of Lili`uokalani Gardens <br /> is donating seven(7) benches and two (2) seats to the County of Hawaii Department of Parks <br /> and Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, these benches and chairs, valued at approximately $14,100, will be <br /> installed at Lili`uokalani Gardens in Hilo; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
