HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 206 Draft 01 2020-2022 ®ilN,r,oF",w COUNTY OF HAWAIJ +: : STATE OF HAWA141 1tE os'aa� I 3 SOLU'7CIN NC). 2OG 21 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR ONE (1) COPY MACHINE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease for five (5) years, for one (1) copy machine for the Department of Parks and Recreation; and WHEREAS, this copier will be utilized by the Department of Parks and Recreation's Parks Maintenance Division; and WHEREAS, the current copier is over six years old and is in constant need of repairs; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease for the equipment as indicated above, for the Department of Parks and Recreation. 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai`i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Finance.
