Aloha County Council,
My name is Hazel Brackett and I strongly oppose Bill 52 and 53.The redesignation and rezoning ofTMK(3)-7-3-005:015 the Ward
property.
We need to hold developers to a higher standard.They should not be able to lie to the council to get what they want.
We need to protect our communities and stop selling off our land to the highest bidder.They are driving the cost of housing up for
us locals and forcing a lot of us to leave the place we love.
If these developers want to say affordable,then they should be held accountable and actually build affordable or not at all. No more
manipulation. No more lies, no more halfway acceptable plans that once had good intentions.We know once it's built it'll be the
same story we're seeing all over Kona.Available only to the wealthy moving here and leaving the locals with even higher housing
costs than ever before. Please don't set this precedent.
Please consider our local community and vote no to bill 52 and 53.
