Subject: New housing development
My name is Shallon Cerf and I have repeatedly written and attended meetings in regards to this new
housing development. My concern is for the population density of this area and traffic. I know a newer
traffic study was completed, however, it was done before Makualani Christian Academy began
school. There are almost 300 students there and drop off and pick up of those students also creates much
traffic right near the entrance of the proposed housing development. There are already three affordable
housing developments in the area as well as 5 schools and the surrounding neighborhood. The traffic here
is already unbearable at times. It is completely negligent for safety and traffic reasons to put more
cars/people in this area. It is absolutely not a great idea and the only reason it is being considered is
because of a water well. That does not make it pond. Convenience is taking priority over the safety of our
children. Please reconsider the location of this needed housing edition. It is absolutely needed in this
community, it makes no sense to put it at the proposed site. Guaranteed if Carlo lived in this area it would
not be going in here.
