RE: Proposed low income development in our neighborhood
a
We live on the intersection of Uluaoa St. and Hua'ala St. right across the proposed
development of low income housing.
WE OPPOSE THIS HORRIBLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS.
1. We live in a single family residential neighborhood. This development will destroy the
peaceful lifestyle as we know it, our neighborhood.
2. Parking on Uluaoa St. is already a major problem with just our residents and family functions.
We can't handle any more cars.
3. This proposed development is located between two single family residences One located on
Uluaoa St, and the other on one acre high-end single family residences.
4. This will destroy our peaceful lifestyle, and cause a drastic devaluation in our properties.
5. Why does this type of low-income housing need to be placed here? Is the
developer greedy of personal financial gain, without giving thought to the
consequences of the negative impact of those of us who life ,

6® I propose that this low income housin evelo ent be moved to ANE
KEOHOKALOLE where the latest low income housing has already been developed near
Kealakehe High School, or on HINA LANI STREET, above Home Depot, where there is
also a low income housing development. Both ofthese areas have huge amounts of land
adjacent to them where this new development can and should be built,
PLEASE STOP THIS PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT.
NEIGHBORHOOD.DON'T DESTROY OUR
Herb Schneider and family.
