RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING PRO SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTION, SERVICE, AND MAINTENANCE
FOR THE OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more
than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawai‘i wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement for five (5) years, for Housing Pro Software subscription, service and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, this specialized software is a complete tenant, voucher and financial management system that allows the rental division to meet program requirements and efficiently document
communication with applicants, participants and vendors; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year agreement for the software, service and maintenance as indicated above, for the Office of Housing and Community Development.
That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai‘i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, Office of Housing and Community Development,
and the Finance Department.
