Please accept this testimony of my strongest recommendation in support of the nomination of Melissa Leilani
Demello and Kanoe Wilson to the Puna Community Action Committee.
I have worked with both of these ladies closely in a Professional capacity and they both have the skills and passion
needed in order to serve on this Committee in addressing the recovery of Puna. They are both action-orientated and as
we move into this time with our Resilience Action Committees, we need committed folks that are able to move
projects forward.
I have served on the Puna CDP for many years and strongly feel that having our Hawaiian community members
represented on this committee is essential moving forward.
I want to thank Mayor Roth for these excellent nominations.
