Please accept this testimony in support of Mahina Paishon-Duarte to the Windward Planning Commission.
I have worked with Mahina over the past 20 years. She will bring a balanced and mature mindset to this important
Commission. It is imperative that we have representation from our host Native Hawaiian culture on matters pertaining
to our 'aina and development.
I have always been impressed with Mahina`s thoughtful and deep consideration in her leadership work in education
and economic development. She is a well-respected and hard-working leader with a deep love of her community.
Mahalo to Mayor Roth for bringing forth this excellent candidate to sit on the Windward Planning Commission.
