SUBJECT: Update on Wastewater Division Priorities, Challenges, and Solutions
By means of this communication, I am kindly requesting a 15 minute update followed by a 45 minute
discussion with the Department of Environmental Management to understand priorities, challenges
encountered, and solutions identified/implemented for the Wastewater Division.
I am also requesting a status report on implementing Ord. 21-22, regarding an EDA grant to conduct
a Comprehensive Programmatic Environmental Impact Study for Puna.
Please place this matter on the appropriate committee agenda for October 19, 2021.
