SUBJECT: Update on Eruption Recovery Efforts
By means of this communication, I am kindly requesting a 15-minute presentation and a
45-minute discussion with the Kilauea Disaster Recovery Team on the following:
- Data on Phase 1 of the Voluntary Housing Buy-Out Program, and information on
subsequent phases
- Administration plans to spend federal dollars secured for inundated roads, water systems,
parks facilities, and radio systems
- County engagement via Revitalize Puna and Resilience Action Teams.
Please place this matter on the appropriate Nov. 2, 2021 committee agenda. Mahalo.
