Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Kea Keolanui of District 1 to the Water Board.
Kea Keolanui was born and raised in Hawaii and attended Kapiolani Community College. As
Head of Marketing at OK Farms, which her family owns and operates, she brings over a decade
of experience to the table in all aspects of agriculture, including the protection and preservation
of water.
Ms. Keolanui was the Owner/Manager of Hawaii ECO Experiences, an agricultural based
business with a major focus on farmer supported farm-to-table experiences, which shifted focus
during the pandemic to the sale, transport and delivery of locally grown produce to residents.
She serves on the Board of Vibrant Hawaii - a collective impact movement of multi-sector
stakeholders committed to a structured approach to achieve social change. If confirmed, she will
serve a term to end December 31, 2024.
Your favorable confirmation is requested. Please contact me if you have any questions.
