I <br /> kI <br /> S <br /> ,�SYfOF Myr (i <br /> COUNTY F HAWAPI STATE OF HAWAFI <br /> ,rE OF•HF'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> I <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW FIRE CAPTAIN <br /> POSITION FOR THE HAWAII COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Fire Department is requesting to add <br /> one (1) full-time Fire Captain position; and <br /> WHEREAS, the creation of this position is needed to supervise and <br /> a <br /> assist with the Fire Dispatch workload and improve 911 emergency service <br /> to the public; and <br /> WHEREAS, the position indicated above is a Fire Captain, SR-25 <br /> position; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAI`l that one (1) Fire Captain, SR-25, position be created in the Hawaii <br /> County Fire Department. <br />
