Aloha!
My name is Nancy Waller and I hope you will accept this email as advocacy and testimony in support of Resolution
235-21.
I have been a volunteer with Hawaii Farm to Car for the last 3 months, and have every intention of continuing to do
so.
During that time, I have witnessed a slow but steady increase in both customers and vendors/producers.It has been
awesome and humbling to see how this program is providing healthy foods and other products made right here on our
beautiful Island to families who would otherwise have to spend more of their hard earned income to buy products that
have to be shipped to Hawaii.
The twin goals of self-sustainability and feeding families at affordable prices are realistic. The Hawaii Farm to Car
program is off to a great start in making that happen.
By providing support to Hawaii Farm to Car, you will be supporting your friends, neighbors, and community in our
journey to be free of the concerns that come with importing our food, while providing lower costs and better nutrition
for the families who depend on this program.
Please help us continue this great and growing program.
