Subject:Sunshine law
The Hawaii sunshine law is the strictest in the nation with the weakest enforcement. It is on a collision course with the
First Amendment. I sent an email blind carbon copy only two people on a committee and got a threatening letter from
the attorney general's office that I was violating the sunshine law. I could've placed the exact same data in a letter to
the editor. What that be a violation because those same people could read it.
