RE: Resolution No. 156-99, Draft 3
Relating to FEMA Project Impact Grant
This is to transmit Resolution No. 156-99, Draft 3, which was the result of an amendment made
at the Council meeting of November 17, 1999.
Specifically, the amendment consisted of the following:
1. In the 5`h Whereas clause:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended,
county departments must obtain the consent of the council .
2. In the 2°d Resolved clause:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the County of Hawaii is
authorized to sign the referenced Agreement and any related documents on behalf
of [the Office of the Mayor and] the County of Hawaii pursuant to the Hawaii
County Charter, Article V, Section 5-L3(g).
