Dear Hawaii County Councilmembers,

I'm writing to express my concern that the County has not acted upon the 2% land fund as laid out in the
County Charter amendments. This amendment will help create critically important public land assets, an
initiative supported by so many Hawaii Island residents.

Last year voters approved the amendment for an Administrator who would take action on matching funds
and grant monies for non-profit partners to do stewardship and maintenance. What are you waiting for? I
Action is needed immediately. j
Land prices are rising and inflation is hitting us hard as you sit on your hands and wait. Please, do the job
which you were elected to do.
