Aloha County Council
My family is 5th generation in Hawaii. I was born here and lived here my whole life.
We need public lands and parks and funds for stewardship and maintenance.
Please follow and enact the County Charter amendments aimed at strengthening the
2% program?
Last year voters approved an amendment calling for a 2% Administrator to acquire
properties, seek matching funds, and pursue grants for stewardship of the lands.
Voters also approved a second amendment to expedite grants to non-profits doing
maintenance and stewardship.
Please act to preserve and protect our special places!
