Please accept this written testimony concerning the recovery effort in regards to FEMA and Federal Funds. I feel
that the federal funds allocated for the impacted lava area need to be used and distributed in this area. It seems like
using FEMA funds to support the Hilo Golf Course or to build a skate board park in HPP go against the purpose and
stipulation of FEMA funds.These funds should be used in a fair and equitable manner to restore, among other
projects, Ahalanui County Park and the water wells that serve the Puna area. I would like to see addressed what
percentage of Federal Funds are being allocated for outside the impacted eruption area?
