Meso 214.21 urges the Office of Housing and Community Development to conduct a study on the County's inclusionary
zoning policies and develop a strategic roadmap for housing development on Hawaii Island.
The Kona CDP Action Committee has discussed the need for more housing, especially affordable housing over the
many years and it continues to be on our agenda. A county wide strategic roadmap is what is needed to
move the discussion into action. As the vice-chair of the Kona CDP Action Committee, I urge you to vote
yes on Resolution 214.21.
