SUBJECT: Follow-up on County's Film Permit Process and Industry Impact
By means of this communication, I am requesting a 45 minute discussion with Research&
Development to follow up on the October 19, 2021 Committee discussion regarding the County's
film permit process.
A status report on the County's film industry marketing and engagement strategy, assessment of
economic impacts,process for establishing fines for improper conduct, and flow chart for obtaining
proper and necessary permits is appreciated.
Please place this item on the agenda for December 7, 2021 committee meetings.
