It is my pleasure to nominate Richard Cunningham of Council District 2 to the Board of
Appeals.
Mr, Cunningham, a 45-year resident of Hawaii, owned and operated Cunningham Gallery in
Hilo for over 30 years. He is currently retired and is an active volunteer in the Rotary Club of
Hilo Bay. If confirmed, he will fill the remainder of the term of Jim McCully,who recently
resigned, with a term ending date of December 31, 2022.
