Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4, 1 submit Michael Doolittle for re-
appointment to the Veterans Advisory Committee. The Council originally confirmed Mr.
Doolittle in July of 2017 and he is eligible to succeed himself for an additional five-year term.
As noted previously, Mr. Doolittle served in the US Army from 1962-1970. He is a retired
independent real estate developer, investor, and businessman. He currently owns Mystic Palm
Plantation, a veteran's vocational training center in Hakalau. If confirmed, he will serve a
second term ending December 31, 2026.
