SUBJECT: Presentation—Sustainable Community Food Systems
We respectfully request approximately 30 minutes for a presentation by Sarah Freeman—Food
Access Coordinator for Hawaii County. A portion will be for questions and answers.
Ms. Freeman's presentation will feature her knowledge on creating sustainable community food
systems and her experience with connecting sectors of agriculture.
We request that this presentation take place on committees scheduled for December 7, 2021.
Powerpoint material will be provided by Ms. Freeman prior to the meeting.
Please place this item on the agenda of the Climate Resilience and Natural Resource
Management Committee.
