sKta.oc„�� <br /> COUNTY OF A 6 ` :« STATE OF HAWAPI <br /> �rs'oF.wr.N <br /> SOLIJTil.J1V NO. 273 21 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINGE PAYMENT OF FUNDS <br /> LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br /> FOR A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT FOR PARATRANSIT <br /> ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENTS AND PARATRANSIT OPERATIONS <br /> FOR THE MASS TRANSIT AGENCY <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br /> later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year <br /> agreement for one (1) year and three (3) months, for paratransit eligibility <br /> assessments and paratransit operations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the selected contractor will provide eligibility assessments strictly <br /> limiting ADA paratransit eligibility to individuals with disabilities who are unable to <br /> use the fixed route bus system and perform scheduling of transportation and <br /> dispatching of operators; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a one (1) year and <br /> three (3) month agreement for the services as indicated above, for <br /> the Mass Transit Agency. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the <br /> agreement. <br />
