3 <br /> 3 <br /> 3KSY OF k,- <br /> 4p.,y- ,ate I <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAIII `_ :4 STATE OF HAWAFI <br /> �tE•OFNs'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 276 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW ACCOUNTANT I <br /> AND TWO (2) NEW SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK POSITIONS <br /> FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Finance is in need of three (3) new <br /> positions to implement a transient accommodation tax (TAT) collection, <br /> reconciliation, and enforcement program for the County of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, these positions will be within the Department of Finance <br /> Internal Control and TAT Division; and <br /> WHEREAS, the positions indicated above are one (1) Accountant 1, <br /> SR-18 and two (2) Senior Account Clerks, SR-13; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that one (1) Accountant I, SR-18 and two (2) Senior Account <br /> Clerk, SR-13 positions be created in the Department of Finance. <br />
