Hello,
I strongly support Bill 91. It is well established that glyphosate-based pesticides are damaging to the health of people
and the land. People generally understand this, but they know of no easier more cost effective way to deal with weeds
in their yards. As long as these pesticides use is permissible, people will opt for what is convenient. It's at such times
that government serves the people by doing what is in the long term interests of All people, which includes protecting
the environment upon which we depend for our way of life. Do the right thing: "Reduce the use of the broad-spectrum
systemic herbicide by county workers at Hawaii County Parks and Recreation facilities across the Big Island."
