Subject: Glyphosate-based pesticides
Aloha,
I am a lifelong resident of the Big Island. I care deeply about our island home and our community.We now know the extremely
detrimental effects glyphosate-based products cause to soil health, nearby marine health, human health and so on.The very harmful
nature of these products is not in dispute.We simply cannot claim to care about climate change and planetary health while
continuing to spray these toxic chemicals all over our land. Doing so would be the epitomization of hypocrisy. Banning the use of
these products is easy enough to do. Many countries have already done so. If you care about our island home then you must ban
these products.Simple as that.
