Aloha Council. Bill 91:An ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, HAWAPI COUNTY CODE 1983
2016 EDITION,AS AMENDED),BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE 12 PROHIBITING
USE OF GLYPHOSATE-BASED PESTICIDES IN COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES.
I have followed glyphosate and Roundup for a long time and have read peer review journals and other articles on the dangers of glyphosate. I
am very thinkful for whoever wrote/introduced this bill. It is a long time in coming.
I support Bill 91 for the welfare and safety of the BI inhabitants (as well as flora and fauna). Many counties throughout the US and world are
banning glyphosate based bio-cides and finding safer alternatives and we should to. Please pass this bill to ban this very toxic and ubiquitous
bio-cide.
