Please see below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 2; a resolution approving the legislative proposals for inclusion in the 2022 Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC) Legislative Package. This proposed amendment would change the originating entity for item No. 4, relating to lifeguards, from the County of Maui to the HSAC Executive Committee. Attached is the letter from HSAC incorporating the change, which will replace the HSAC cover letter in Exhibit A when transmitted with Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 3, upon approval of this amendment. The proposed amendments are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 2; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. 1. The first WHEREAS clause of Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 2, is amended to read as follows: "WHEREAS, at its meeting on October 26, 2021, the Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC) Executive Committee approved for inclusion in the HSAC Legislative Package [fear] three proposals from the County of Maui, one proposal from the City and County of Honolulu, [two] three proposals from the HSAC Executive Committee, and one proposal from the County of Hawaii; and" Comm.
