CALL TO The regular meeting of the Committee on Finance was called to order at

review and confirmation.

Vote on Comm. 488: Ms. Lee Loy moved to recommend confirmation of the
(Approved) appointment of Ms. Jodie Rosam to the Public Access,
Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation
Commission. Seconded by Ms. David and carried by the
following voice vote:
Ayes: Committee Members Chung, David, Inaba,
Kierkiewicz, Kimball, Lee Loy, Richards,
Villegas, and Chair Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder—9.

Executive Assistant to the Mayor Pomaika`i Bartolome came forward and
provided a brief narrative of the nominee's background and experience.
Committee Members spoke in favor of the appointment.

RESOLUTIONS: Order of Resolutions.

BILLS FOR The Chair directed the Committee to proceed to the next order of business,
ORDINANCES: Bills for Ordinances.
Bill 92: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 21-38, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING
BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2022
Increases revenues in the Federal Grants —Mainstream Voucher Program
account($600,000) and the Federal Grants —Mainstream Voucher
Administration account($75,000); and appropriates the same to the Office of
Housing's Mainstream Voucher Program account($600,000) and Other
Current Expenses accounts ($75,000). Funds would be used for payment of
rental assistance for eligible participants, and administrative fees.

Motion to Approve: Ms. Lee Loy moved to recommend passage of Bill 92
on first reading. Seconded by Mr. Inaba.
CHR KANEALI`I-KLEINFELDER: This is a great opportunity for our Council
as is all the funding that we've been receiving for these types of programs.
