Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Antonio Gaspar to the Veterans Advisory Committee. Mr. Gaspar
has been a Hawaii resident for over fifty years. He served in the United States Army from
1969-1971 and retired from the Hawaii National Guard in 2004 after more than thirty years of
service. Mr. Gaspar was also employed as a Maintenance Technician for Enterprise Holdings for
twelve years and is currently employed as a transporter for Hertz Rental Cars.
Mr. Gaspar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from UH-Hilo. He
is a long-time member of the American Legion,West Hawaii Veterans Council and West
Hawaii Veterans Cemetery Expansion and Development. Mr. Gaspar previously served on the
Veterans Advisory Committee from 2017 to 2020. If confirmed, Mr. Gaspar will represent as an
at-large member with a term to end December 31, 2026.
