I am a mother of a 3 year old and resident of Kailua-Kona,we use the local park facilities very often. I am looking forward to the day
where we do not spray toxic poison where our children play.
I am also writing to express my support of Res 276-21 Higashihara Park Maintenance-our kids deserve safe places to play! Even j
more resources should be given to local park safety and maintenance.
I would urge the county to draw its attention to how we can use reasources we already have,coupled with traditional Indigenous
ecological knowledge to maintain invasive weed control and the green maintenance of our parks. Mahalo Councilmember Villegas
and all the other people for your continued efforts to ensure safe community places. j
