I personally am sensitive to Roundup. I have to drive with my windows shut and take daily medication due to my exposure on the roads of our county. However this is not the only reason we should stop using it. If even a small percentage of the possible harm attributed to round-up is true, then we should not be saturating our roadsides with it. People walk there. Children sit there waiting for their busses. We are in the midst of a pandemic and one of the possible side effects of this stuff is to lower immunity. How do I know that? Well it is personal. At the age of 711 have lived most of my life in Waimea on the big island. I have been sick as long as 3 months after an inadvertent exposure to the county spray truck. That will not convince you because of course it is not fully documented, but after experiencing this multiple times, I am personally convinced. My symptoms are predominantly respiratory but if I touch it I also get a rash that lasts for months. However I do not expect my own experience to convince you. I would like you to consider the following document which appeared on a government website: https://www.fs.usda.gov/nfs/11558/www/neva/103623_FSPLT3_4284738 pdf Here are other interesting links: t https://www.momsacrossamerica.com/to—the epa revoke the license of g1yphosate? clg id=CjOKCQr - gGNBhD3ARIsAO o7ykZM-kGhlkebWyziHT7RydmmlC- ABk8UhvnRYriPgA7ZYILTw gx20aAuQ4EALw wcB https:Hmedlineptus. ov/ency/article/002838.htm http s://www.ecowatch.com/baver-ending-g_lypho s ate-sales-us-market-2 65 42983 3 9.html When the honorable council member who voted against this ban said he didn't think we were qualified to judge the harmfulness of this stuff, perhaps he would consider other experts?please check out the links above. France has banned it. Lawsuits are ramping up. The county should protect itself financially even if it doesn't care enough to protect its citizens from personal harm. Schools banned peanut butter because it harms a few. Please consider that as well. It is just so galling to be chronically poisoned by my own government, however convenient this stuff might be.
