J�4V OF <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII t STATE OF HAWAII <br /> f)q� Mt MA• ',� <br /> �r{•OF Nl� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 29S 22 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW ACCOUNT CLERK <br /> (TEMP) AND ONE (1) NEW CLERK III (TEMP) POSITION FOR <br /> THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of two (2) new <br /> temporary positions to support the Animal Control Program for the County of <br /> Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, these positions are necessary to execute foundational <br /> operations of the Animal Control Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the positions indicated above are one (1) Account Clerk <br /> (Temp), SR-11 and one (1) Clerk III (Temp), SR-10; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that one (1) Account Clerk (Temp), SR-11 and one (1) Clerk III <br /> (Temp), SR-10 position be created in the Police Department. <br />
