Terms of the grant require the involvement of a nonprofit entity and the providing of matching funds. The purchase and installation of the play equipment by the Big Island Resource Conservation & Development Council, and the providing of matching funds by the County are each entity's contribution to the project. Enclosed are bills for ordinances to appropriate funds for the play equipment for Ainaola Park. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks & Recreation.
