Re: Capital Budget
A grant from the Hawai i Electric Industries Charitable Foundation was
awarded to the Big Island Resource Conservation & Development Council, a
nonprofit organization, to purchase play equipment for the County's Ainaola
Park. Terms of the grant require the involvement of a nonprofit entity and the
providing of matching funds.
The purchase and installation of the play equipment by the Big Island Resource
Conservation & Development Council, and the providing of matching funds by
the County are each entity's contribution to the project.
Enclosed are bills for ordinances to appropriate funds for the play equipment
for Ainaola Park.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of
Parks & Recreation.
