OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR FOR A LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE
MASS TRANSIT AGENCY
Authorizes the Mayor to enter into a one-year lease agreement for approximately
1,211 square feet of commercial space at the Queens' Marketplace in Waikoloa to
park up to ten buses and provide a breakroom and rest area for bus operators.

Adds the Mass Transit Pahoa Transit Hub—State project for $100,000 to the
Capital Budget. Funds for this project shall be provided from State Grants
Receivable, and would be used to support a site analysis and environmental
assessment by the Mass Transit Agency for a new transit hub in Pahoa.

Increases revenues in the State Emergency Medical Services account($4,806,545),
and appropriates same to the following accounts: Fire Emergency Medical
Services— Salaries and Wages ($1,165,446), Fire Emergency Medical Services—
Equipment($371,091), and Retirement Benefits ($3,270,008), bringing the total
appropriation to $21,984,337. Funds would be used for collective bargaining
agreement salaries and fringe benefits and equipment.

Adds the Environmental Management Pua Force Main Installation and
Rehabilitation— State Revolving Funds project for$530,000 to the Capital Budget.
Funds for this project shall be provided from State Revolving Funds, and would be
used to install a second Sewage Force Main and rehabilitate the existing Force
Main that connects the Pua Sewage Pump Station to the Hilo Wastewater
Treatment Plant.

Submitting Video Testimony: Those submitting video testimony may email a complete web address
(url)to videotestimon a,hawaiicounty.gov before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the
meeting. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date,
agenda item (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video
submittal. Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item. Video submittals may
contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony
will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the
