RE: Suggestions for HSAC D.C. visit'
In February 2022, the HSAC members will be attending the NACo legislative conference
in Washington D.C. to discuss and share updates from each county as well as to learn more about
what is happening on the national level. Part of this conference includes meetings on the hill.
Please provide a summary of the top issues impacting your county that you would like to
share at these meetings. Time is limited as each county will be presenting their own report,
therefore please identify the top three priority issues from your summaryto help us make
efficient use of our meetings.
In addition to our Hawaii congressional delegates please can you provide suggestions on
other agencies or congressional members that you would recommend the HSAC members meet
with.
Deadline to submit this to HSAC is January 20,2021.
Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Any questions, please contact
