SUBJECT: Request for a presentation from the Hawaii County Administration on proceedings
regarding Papa`ikou Mill Road access.
On November 11, 2020, Hawaii County Council passed Resolution No. 732-20 to authorize the
purchase of Papa`ikou Mill Road through eminent domain in order to provide public pedestrian access
to the beach in Pdpa`ikou. This memorandum is being submitted to request a 15 minute presentation
from the administration, including Corporation Counsel,to update the Council on the County's
progress on this matter.
Please place this item on the appropriate committee's agenda for January 18, 2022.
